Study session lengths from 1-1.5 hours // 8 min break
NEW LIVESTREAM Style!
Hi guys! As my exam approaches and I get more and more panicky, I'd like to do longer study focus sessions. Most full days, we'll start with a 1.5 hour session, and a 2 hour session. Then we'll do just one hour sessions!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
How do I stay motivated?
My motivational tips can all be found on my blog - they're little tricks I do to make sure I feel excited about studying. With medicine, it's easy, because medicine feels important: the things I learn today can help me be a better doctor when I have my own patients. I can't think of anything more motivating than that! Also, this exam is massive and expensive and time consuming, and I'm not about to let some lazy thoughts ruin the work I've put in so far! :)
How do I concentrate for long periods of time?
What am I studying?
I'm preparing for the USMLE Step 1, which is the medical licensing exam required to pursue medicine in the United States. It's an 8 hour exam - mine will likely be mid-January, and the score helps determine where I can get a job as a physician in the US. It covers all the basic sciences, and it's a lot to learn all at once.
